About the centre
Our philosophy
Camberwell Early Childhood Centre is a community managed and government supported, non-profit organisation. Staff and parents are involved in planning and implementing policy to provide quality childcare.
We provide a warm and friendly environment and encourage each child in their emotional development and their acquisition of physical, intellectual, creative and communication skills, through both individual and group activities and interactions.
We provide a structured environment, in which children feel secure, which maximizes their learning, develops self confidence and respect for others. There is a flexibility within this structure to cater for each child's individual needs through balanced daily programs based on the needs, abilities and interests of the children.
The expertise and commitment of our staff is fundamental for the benefit of the children and the Centre.
